Construction of Cummins new Queensland State facility involved a range of different structures to their requirements including:
- Truck engine servicing
- Parts warehousing and distribution
- Qld state office administration
- Ancillary building to house wash down and dynamic engine DYNO testing.
- With a Total Area under roof of 10,000 square metres including 5,000 square metres of office area
- 12,000 square metres of hard stand and carpark.
The facility located over 3 hectares was built over 10 month period, completed in November 2007. The project included extensive service pits and grates for services and sloping floors for ease of cleaning and control of any spills. A 250,000L rain water harvesting storage system was installed for reuse on site.
